1. Excellent Formability. Mn content less 5182 aluminium coil relative 5083 alloy is more suitable for material forming. Most importantly, 5182 alloy is the best for large forming application compared with other series.

2. Outstanding Weldability. Gas welding, argon arc welding, spot welding and roll welding of 5182 aluminium alloy are all very good.
